So Long 2013....

So long 2013... There's a lot of words to describe you. It was full of accomplishments and failures. It was full of happiness and let downs. It was full of new friends and old friends leaving. 

In Feburary 2013 my amazing man spoiled me on Valentine's Day! 

In March I went to my first blate with alabama girls. :). 

Me and JBK went on a vacation(s) with my family this year. :). 

I went to my first formal for Delta Chi. 

Me and JBK both graduated 

My freshman roommate got married to her high school sweetheart 

I got to nanny 2 sweet kids over the summer and now the cutest kid now.

I also started workout/ get healthy.  One of the best things I have ever done. I don't think I could have survived my vacation to Orlando if I hadn't.

Overall we did great on steps/ miles done. 

I am so ready for 2014 to start. My word for 2014 is change.

2 Posts In One Day..

So I saw this on Heather's blog so I decided to do it. :). 

I can't wait for 2014 to start. I really feel like this next year is one for the books.

I still haven't packed for Orlando and we leave tomorrow for a week.

I'm so ready to go to Disney because I haven't been since I was 16.

I've went through a lot in 2013. I graduated from college. My boyfriend graduated from his Masters. I moved home in Aug. My boyfriend got his first teaching job. We went through/going our first real hard  separation. I got a nanny job and started to workout. 

I'm starting a new blog/address on Jan, 1. I can't wait for y'all to see it! 

Music is my outlet. I love dancing/worshiping in my room. 

I love the show Best Ink. It makes me want a tattoo. Just a small one. :) 

I can't wait for the trip for next Christmas. Hawaii!!! :) :) :) 

I want to go back Washington D.C. 

I will probably read 3 or 4 books on this Orlando trip. 

I am watching Buffy right now. Old school 90s. 

I really miss playing softball. I just really miss going to the cages to hit. 

I've become more girly in my 20s. 

I love the color of finger and toenail color right now. :) 

It is silver sparkly color. 

I also love hummus. Espically this kind called Wild Garden. It is so good.

I also love Go Picnic meals. :). 

My Motivation/Inspiration

I've been asked lately what is my motivation!? Why did it take this long to get it. 

Why now when I was 23 almost 24!?  Why now when I was at my heaviest I ever been!? 

Why not when I was first started gaining weight at 11/12!? 

Why not when I was freshman in high school!? 

Why not when I was in the 100s my freshman year in college!? 

Why not when I was poinsetta debutante!?  3 years ago. 

Why now you ask!? 

Why the heck not!??? 

Sure when I started I was the heaviest I ever been!

My motivation this time is for me. Only me. It is not for my mom, dad, sisters, JBK. 

I want to show myself that I CAN do this. That I CAN make myself change. That I have strength to do it. 

I workout at least 3x a week plus Sat if I can. I hate when I miss. I love when I'm sore because it shows me I had a great workout. Plus I'm about to start doing 5Ks and P90x3. 

Yes I'm crazy. 

I am ready to finally commit full throttle. 

I think why I'm finally getting this because I'm putting my own money into it. Besides the 2 months my parents paid for my birthday present and 1 month for Christmas. 

But I'm so ready to do this for me!! And I can't wait to see the results and what I will look like a year from now!! 

2014 The Year of Health and Getting Fit!! :).

New Blog/Reasons

Only few people know this. I have been struggling with writing my blog lately. Hence the long absences. I know I want to keep blogging. 

There's a lot of reasons why I want to do this. 

1. I started the blog as a way to get over my ex. And I have. I have deleted everything but I still tied to him some how. I still have posts about him on this blog.

2. I still have nightmares with him in it and I feel like if I give up this blog it will go away. So bad juju. Yes I said juju. 

3. My life is changing right now. I'm on a fitness/healthy living journey. I'm on a long distance journey with JBK. I'm on a spiritual journey. And so much more.  

So with a lot of prayer and a lot of getting advice I'm going to start a whole new blog in general. 

I'm getting Hubby Jack to do my design I'm so excited about it!! :) 

So it's coming in Jan. 1, 2014. 

I will be giving y'all the URL soon so you can follow it. 

I can't wait to show y'all everything I have in store!!

5K and Weight Update

So most of y'all know I been on this heathy train for almost a year now. 

However I really started in August when I got home.  I was the heaviest I had ever been. I was 249. I promised myself I would never allow get that big. But I did. So I started to eat clean and eventually working out. 

I now have been eating good for 4 months. And working out for 3 months.

I have done a mud run with obstacles. 

I weighed in for the month for Nov. And I lost 6 lbs!! :). 

I don't know about my inches yet. 

So now I have lost 21 lbs!! I'm so close to 10% of my body weight!! 

I went from a 22-24 to 18-20. I can also fit in XL Tshirts.

I am also doing this for me too. I feel amazing. I have so much energy. 

If you would have told me if I would feel this good I would not believe you. 

And now next week I'm starting to train for my first 5K. 

I maybe even do this half in 2015. Eeek. 

I am going to Disney/Universial later in the month. So yeah for walking!! :) 

I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store!!!! I hope to have lost another 29 before my birthday ( Oct. 6) I know I can do it!!

Thankful Thursday I mean Friday

Wow I haven't blogged since last Friday. This week has just been crazy busy with Claire. 

I'm so thankful for... 

My parents. I know I don't talk about them often on here. My parents will be married for 29 years tomorrow. :). They are also leaving us 3 girls tomorrow for the beach and we will join them Tuesday thru Friday!! :) 

This is an old picture but I love them so much. They have given me an my sisters the best life possible. They do so much for us. 

I'm thankful for my sweet JBK. We had an amazing talk last night about a few bumps and he listened. :). And I also got an unexpected text this morning. So ready to see him next weekend. 

Sweet Erin. Today is her birthday! She is one of my inspirations! :). I hope to visit her in California one day. 

Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies need I say more!?? :).

My Break Through

So y'all know I had a horrible month last month. It was full of excuses. I just wasn't do I what I should be doing. I was cheating a lot and just not really caring. 

I was making a routine of everything. I was stuck in a rut. Even though I was working out 3x to 4x a week. 

I was going through the motions in my whole life. I was doing it in my relationship with JBK, my weight loss, my food, everything. 

I had a HUGE break through last night and today during my workout. If you read my thankful Thursday you can read about the treadmill. Well Brad told everyone about it this morning and I had to do it again this morning. That's what I have to do that now at the end of each workout. 

So now I'm starting a new with everything!! :). I can't wait for this new adventure!! :).
